Like many of you, we spent a lot of time lately looking through our toys to ensure every item is safe for your child. In light of recent events with toy industry recalls, I’d like to share with you what we do at our child care facility to maintain the highest possible level of quality and safety for all of the toys we use.
Rest assured, we always have the health, safety and enjoyment of your child in mind. Although a lot of toys and games are manufactured in China, safety isn't always a result of where the product is made, but rather, the result of our process to ensure any toys meet the highest safety standards.
At The Goddard School, we are passionate about maintaining the health and safety of all of the children in our care. This passion extends to how we select our products, the materials we choose, as well as the other businesses that provide goods for our school.
We work closely with all agencies to define and maintain safe standards. In addition to educating our vendors about our high safety expectations, we require that they supply only goods that meet or exceed our standards of excellence. For added quality assurance, our corporate QA team regularly visits and reviews our facility to oversee our operations.
We constantly monitor accredited, independent sources, such as the Consumer Products Safety Commission, to verify all applicable federal and industry safety standards are met. This allows us to confirm continued adherence to our high quality standards and to ensure dangerous materials (such as Lead Paint) are not introduced into our facility. By the time toys reach your child's hands, they have already gone through many safeguards so you can have peace of mind.
There is nothing more magical than the joy a child gets from playing with favorite toys. Preserving the safety of those toys - and those moments - is the utmost importance to us. We continually revisit established safety checks to make sure The Goddard School is as exceptional as your child.
Feel free to visit with us, or call me at 732-363-5530, if you any questions about our safety standards or procedures.
Thank you for your continued passion about our school.
Yours in caring,
Ms. Dana Chibbaro
