The Goddard School partners with MDA for Annual *Hop-A-Thon* Event

[Toms River, NJ] – Setting a good example is just one of the lessons to be learned at The Goddard School (TR-2), at 255 Route 70, in Toms River, NJ. On Thursday, March 13th, and Friday, March 14^th, pre-school children at the childcare and early-education center will participate in another fun-learning event, the MDA Hop-A-Thon.

This event is an annual fund-raiser sponsored by the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA), and The Goddard School, to encourage young children to use their muscles to help those who can’t.

*Our Hop-a-Thon event is based on three simple, but key principles: 1) building awareness of Muscular Dystrophy, 2) teaching acceptance to the children and the community, and 3) motivating others to help the less fortunate,* says Ms. Dana Chibbaro (CQ), owner and operator of the center. *Parents, relatives, and our neighbors in the community are encouraged to sponsor a child to hop, and to make a donation, large or small, to raise funds for MDA.*

All the donations received at The Goddard School will go to support MDA’s comprehensive program services, such as sending local children to a week of MDA summer camp this August.

About The Goddard School

The Goddard School is a private childcare center and pre-school, whose mission is to offer early education, childhood development and even Kindergarten services, in a *fun-learning* environment. A full curriculum, including before- and after-school enrichment, is taught by an experienced teaching staff. The school operates both part-time and full-time programs for children from 6-weeks to 6-years -- and a summer camp program for youngsters through 8-years of age.
